Critical thinking discussion set for Feb. 1 Craig Nelson, recently retired from Indiana University as a professor of biology and director of their teaching and learning center, will visit UND Thursday, Feb. 1. His work on helping students develop stronger critical thinking skills and “mature valuing” across the curriculum brought him national prominence in recent years, and Dr. Nelson will be available for informal discussion of these topics from 9 to 10 a.m. in the Memorial Room, Memorial Union.
