Are you about to begin your dissertation work? Or do you need to get back to it? Sign up for “Starting (or Restarting) the Dissertation.” This one-hour workshop will take you step-by-step through decisions about how to create an environment, schedule, and support network to foster your dissertation writing success. The workshop is open to all UND students, staff, and faculty working on a dissertation. It will be facilitated by Kathleen Vacek, coordinator of Writing Across the Curriculum and the Writing Center.

The workshop will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, in the Memorial Union Alumni Room. Space is limited to 12 participants. To sign up, send an e-mail including your name and your department to kathleen.vacek@UND.edu.
