Faculty, advisors encouraged to inform students about online courses
With the fall semester more than half complete, it’s time for students to think spring and begin enrolling in Spring 2013 courses. We would like to ask faculty and advisors to inform students about the online course options available. Students have hundreds of choices with the flexibility they need.
UND offers two course formats: Semester-Based and Enroll Anytime. Semester-Based courses follow the same timeline as on-campus courses and are eligible for financial aid. Enroll Anytime courses allow students to register anytime and work at their own pace for up to nine months, but are not eligible for financial aid. UND’s online courses mirror those offered on-campus and students’ transcripts look the same as for traditional, on-campus courses.
Students receive the North Dakota tuition rate regardless of format or residency status (exceptions may apply).
