Computer Science offers cyber security class
Tired of technobabble and vague hand waving? Want real answers based on real examples of cyber attacks and cyber defense? Computer Science 299: Cyber-Security and Information Assurance, will provide the following opportunities for students:
- Learn good cyber-security and information assurance practices and why they work
- Certification opportunities will be made available throughout the course
- A cyber-security simulator produced by the Naval Postgraduate School will used as part of the course to put the student in the roles of Cyber-Security Officer and Administrator
- No programming required
Course meets Spring 2013, Tuesday/Thursday, from 3 to 4:15 p.m. in 107 Streibel Hall. Receive three credits.
