National Night Out is Aug. 7; Grand Forks event is at Purpur Arena
Grand Forks’ largest block party, National Night Out, will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, in Purpur Arena, 1110 7th Ave. S.
The free event will offer fun for the whole family, with free hamburgers for the first 1,000 guests. Features and events include law enforcement and emergency vehicles, Grand Forks Police Department free child ID, Wall Bangers wheelchair basketball game, tae kwon do and gymnastics demonstrations, K-9 dog demonstrations, and largest inflatable game display. Door prizes will be given away throughout the event.
