University Letter

Welcome Weekend is quickly approaching. We plan to again host information tents on Saturday, Aug. 18, Move-In Day. The information tents will be set up from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. that day., and materials about Welcome Weekend, along with maps, bus schedules, water, “Proud of my UND Student” buttons, etc. will be provided for you to distribute.

The tents will be set up in four locations: 1) outside of Wilkerson, along University Ave. 2) in the Walsh quad, along University Ave.; 3) outside of the Memorial Union, along University Ave.; and 4)outside of Montgomery Hall, along University Ave.

Assisting at an info tent is a great opportunity to meet and welcome new students and family members. If you are interested in staffing a one-hour shift (or longer), please call or e-mail Kristi Okerlund at 777-6468 or kristi.okerlund@und.edu. Feel free to include the tent location and time(s) you are interested in serving at when you contact Kristi. Thank you in advance for your assistance in welcoming our newest UND students to campus.
