CPR, AED and First Aid training available
The North Dakota Safety Council offers training for state employees. Because university employees are also state employees, we invite them to also participate in CPR/AED/First Aid training.
Discounted rates of $27.50 and $55 area available. HRMS will bill the universities; please provide the name of the person who should receive the invoice. To register, call 701.223.6372 or 800.932.8890.
CPR/AED
This 2-1/2 hour National Safety Council program meets and exceeds the 2005 AHA guidelines and meets OSHA requirements. It covers CPR, choking, blood borne pathogens, and use of an AED. If it’s time to certify your CPR/AED skills, this course can help. Upon course completion, you will receive a National Safety Council two year CPR/AED certificate.
CPR/AED/First Aid
Students will learn to be a first responder and learn skills such as basic life support for adults, children and infants, proper AED use, bleeding control, injury and wound care, burns, poisons and sudden illness. After this course you’ll be able to recognize these emergency situations and know how to take appropriate action until professional help arrives. Upon course completion, you will receive a National Safety Council two year CPR/AED certificate and a three year first aid certificate.
Grand Forks CPR/AED training cost and registration is $27.50. Classes are July 10, Sept. 11, and Nov. 13 from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.; Aug. 6, Oct. 8, and Dec. 10 from noon to 2:30 p.m. at Lakeview Inn and Suites, 3350 32nd Ave. S., Grand Forks.
CPR/AED/First Aid training cost and registration is $55. Classes are July 10, Sept. 11, and Nov. 13 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Aug. 6, Oct. 8, and Dec. 10 from noon to 5 p.m., also at Lakeview Inn and Suites. -- Human Resources.
