University Letter

Alice Brekke, vice president for Finance and Operations, has appointed members of a search committee for the position of chief of police. Chief Duane Czapiewski retired in May after 31 years of service with UND Police.

The committee is chaired by Cara Halgren, dean of students.

The search committee comprises Cindy Spencer (Housing), Tom Connelly (Interfraternity Council), Jennifer Dobrowski Rogers (Finance and Operations), Mike Mann (Chemical Engineering), Malika Carter (Multicultural Student Services), Larry Zitzow (Facilities Management), and Tracy Meidinger (University Police).

Staff support will be provided by Suzanne Gandrud (Dean of Student’s Office).
