Honors presents Undergraduate Research Conference April 26

The Honors Program will present its 14th Annual Undergraduate Research Conference on Thursday, April 26, in the Memorial Union. The conference will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

At this year’s conference, 25 UND seniors will present the results of multi-semester independent research projects. During their research, each student works closely with a faculty mentor who serves as chairperson of the resulting senior thesis. The senior thesis process is overseen by the Honors Committee, whose membership consists of faculty appointed by the University Senate and students elected by the Honors Program.

Come celebrate a practice the American Association of Colleges & Universities has called a “high impact best practice” for undergraduate institutions: undergraduate research.
