Budgets Overview Inquiry
April 3, 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Gamble Hall, Lanterman Center, room 9
Prerequisite: PeopleSoft user ID and password for Finance Module, a local fund number, and/or an appropriated fund number.
This training provides the tools necessary to navigate through PeopleSoft to find your department’s budget and cash balance; utilizes PeopleSoft to track your department’s budget, cash, revenue, and expenditures; shows you how to complete a budget journal. The session also includes hands-on practice activities.

Microsoft Office Word 2010: Level 1 (Beginning)
April 3-5, 1 to 4 p.m. (9 hours total)
Prerequisite: Basic understanding of computers, mouse, and file saving and retrieving skills.
Upon successful completion of this session, you will be able to: create a basic document by using Microsoft Word; edit documents by locating and modifying text; format text; format paragraphs; add tables to a document; add graphic elements to a document; control a document's page setup and its overall appearance; and proof documents to make them more accurate.

**Note** Unless otherwise stated, all face-to-face ITSS sessions are held in Carnegie Hall, ITSS/Telecom Training Lab, Lower Level Room 7 and require a working knowledge of Windows or that you already have attended a Windows session. Register early: enrollment is limited.

Defensive Driving
April 5, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Skalicky Tech Incubator, room 211
This session is required by State Fleet for all UND employees who drive State Fleet vehicles on a regular (monthly) basis, have received a traffic violation, or have had an accident while operating a State Fleet vehicle. Employees are encouraged to bring a family member (spouse or dependents). This session may also reduce your North Dakota insurance premiums and possibly remove points from your driving record.

This session will give insight into the different types of harassment, the effects of harassment, what constitutes bullying, and what to do about harassment or bullying in the workplace.
