Conflict Resolution Center offers training in nonviolent communication
The Conflict Resolution Center will offer foundational training in nonviolent communication May 31, June 1, 2, and 3. Scholarships are available and due May 11. Special UND staff/faculty rates are offered. Space is limited, so register today.
In anticipation of this life-enhancing event, we are providing weekly concepts in Nonviolent Communication (NVC) that anyone can use in their daily lives.
NVC Concepts - Week #2: Did you know that judgment and evaluation often create emotional pain, including guilt, shame, blame, and self-disgust? While discernment is part of our innate wisdom, our need to judge others or ourselves comes from cultural programming. If you want to have conversations that are open, honest, empathic, and are free from judgment, learn the theory and skills of Nonviolent Communication. Come to one or all four days of the Foundational Training in NVC. Register by calling 777-3664 or e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Find out more at http://conflictresolution.und.edu.
