| Aviv String Quartet: The Aviv Quartet has performed at leading venues throughout the world, including Carnegie Hall and Alice Tully Hall (New York). Their repertoire comprises approximately 100 pieces, from Haydn, up to contemporary composers. The Museum Concert Series, founded in 1990, is a celebration of classical music that brings performers of international repute to the Museum. It is the oldest chamber concert series in the region and draws a mixed audience of all ages. Tickets for the Concert Series are available by subscription to the series, or available for single concerts at the door or in advance at the North Dakota Museum of Art. Non-member tickets: $70 for the season, $15 per concert at the door. Member’s tickets: $60 for the season, $13 per concert at the door. Student and military tickets are $20 for the season, $5 per concert at the door. Children middle school and under are admitted free. Help assure the survival of the Concert Series by becoming a Concert Series Sponsor for an additional $50. Order your tickets today by sending a check or calling (701) 777-4195. The North Dakota Museum of Art is located on Centennial Drive on the University of North Dakota campus in Grand Forks. Museum hours are weekdays from 9 am to 5 pm and weekends from 11 am to 5 pm. The Museum shop is open during Museum hours. The Museum Café is open from 10 am to 4 pm, with lunch served from 11 am to 2 pm. | The annual North Dakota Museum of Art Gala Benefit Dinner and Silent Art Auction will be held Saturday, February 6, 2009 beginning at 5:30 pm. The Benefit Dinner, which is both a prominent social event and successful fundraiser for the Museum, will be held in the elegant galleries of the North Dakota Museum of Art. Dress is black tie optional, and valet service is provided. The tables seat eight and arrangements can be made for parties to be seated together. | Transfer Getting Started 2010 will take place on Saturday, April 10 in the Memorial Union. Transfer Getting Started is an advisement and registration program for transfer students admitted to UND for summer or fall 2010 semester. New transfer students are invited to attend for individual advisement and registration. Students also have the opportunity to tour campus, obtain a parking permit and student ID, take the math placement exam, and learn about many campus resources to ensure a successful transition to UND.
